AR Glass Fibre Mesh

AR GLASS FIBRE MESH is used by Manual laying or Mechanical molding to reinforce the areas which need mechanical strength to prevent crack.

Product description

Alkali-resistant glass fiber mesh is woven from alkali-resistant glass fiber textile yarn. Zirconium oxide (content 16.7%) is introduced into the glass fiber component. The raw materials are melted at 1600℃. In the process of fiber formation, the surface monofilaments are coated with high molecular water-soluble epoxy resin and coupling agent to meet the affinity of the mesh cloth with alkali-resistant compounds in the later treatment. High alkali-resistant polymer synthetic materials are coated on the surface of the mesh cloth again to form a protective layer with high toughness and strong alkali resistance on the surface of the mesh cloth. In addition, the fiber itself contains zirconium oxide and titanium oxide, and a mixed film of zirconium and titanium ions is formed on the fiber surface, which effectively resists the erosion of alkali-resistant glass fiber mesh cloth by hydrates such as Ca (OH) 2 in polymer mortar.

Benefits:

  • Good gridding fixation, combines more evenly with mortar to maximize strength

  • Good adhesion with mortar

  • High strength, high elastic modulus up to 80.4GPa

  • Outstanding alkali resistance

  • Low breaking elongation : 2.4%

Specifications:

Application:

  • Suitable for laying, spreading or mechanized forming of GRC.

  • Used for roof waterproofing and wall or board reinforcement materials such as gypsum, marble, mosaic, etc.

  • As a reinforcing material for internal and external insulation systems of exterior walls, it has excellent performance, especially in external insulation systems of exterior walls. It mainly plays the role of strengthening walls and reducing restraint stress release to resist surface cracking. It is an ideal engineering material in the construction industry.
